For more than 35 years, Warburton Junior Netball Club has been at the heart of our local community.
Founded over three decades ago, the club has supported hundreds of young players, helping them develop not only netball skills, but confidence, resilience, teamwork and lifelong friendships.
Across the years, our Burras have celebrated many successes, including multiple premierships across various age groups — achievements that reflect the dedication, spirit and culture of our players, coaches and families.
Today, we remain proud of our history and even prouder of the welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment we continue to build for every child who joins our club.

Our coaches are supportive and dedicated volunteers who bring enthusiasm, patience, and encouragement to every session.
Each coach is committed to helping young players grow both on and off the court, guiding them to build confidence, develop essential netball skills, and embrace teamwork.
Our coaches create a positive training environment where every child feels valued.
We invest heavily in our coaching staff, providing them with the latest resources and equipment to deliver top-notch training, as well as ensure all staff are up to date in current child-safe practices and mandatory child-safe requirements.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our local community.
We are fortunate to receive the support of many valued local businesses, including Dalcorp, Woods Environmental Services, Hey Pesto, Insite Contracting, Professionals Yarra Valley and others who generously contribute to our club.
These partnerships mean so much to our club. They help us provide opportunities for our players, support our families, and continue building a positive and thriving netball community.
We thank our sponsors and community partners for being such an important part of the Burra family.

The WJNC Committee, led by President Sally Pratt and Vice President Chris Lord, is made up of passionate and dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our club running smoothly.
From team selection and player support to fundraising, events, uniforms, communication and club operations, our committee plays a vital role in shaping the positive experience we provide for our players and families.
Their time, energy and commitment help create the welcoming, supportive and community-driven environment that defines Warburton Junior Netball Club.
We are incredibly grateful for the people who give so much to our club.

Being a Burra is about more than wearing the uniform or stepping onto the court.
It’s about belonging to a club where every player is valued, every effort is celebrated, and every child is supported to grow - not just as a netballer, but as a person.
Being a Burra means:
Inclusion and encouragement
Positivity and respect
Effort, resilience and growth
Friendship and Community
We celebrate wins, we learn from losses, and we stand by each other through it all.
Being a Burra isn’t just about netball - it’s about belonging, support and shared spirit.
Once a Burra, always a Burra
